In order to achieve high material recovery rate, we have a highly detailed tear down and material categorization procedure, begining with sorting all materials into proper categories.

SP&M will buy, at competitive prices, most metals. Some of these include:

Aluminum
Description: Consists of clean, dry Aluminum Beverage Cans. Free from any other materials such as water, trash, plastic and moisture.

6063 Extrusions
Description: Consists of clean 6063 alloy aluminum extrusions, free of attachments such as steel, steel screws, rubber, felt, plastic and thermal break.

Painted 6063 Extrusions
Description: Consists of clean painted 6063 alloy aluminum with no attachments such as iron screws, rubber, felt and free of thermal break.

Cast Aluminum
Description: Consists of clean aluminum castings free of attachments, such as steel screws, inserts, studs, and any foreign materials.

MLC
Description: Consists of clean Mixed Low Copper aluminum alloys free from painted materials, attachments such as steel, rubber, or other non ferrous materials.

Aluminum Breakage
Description: Consists of a minimum 30% aluminum recovery items such as auto transmissions, whole auto engines, etc.

ISRI Term: Terse
Description: Shall consist of clean, new, pure, uncoated, unalloyed aluminum foil, free from anodized foil, radar foil and chaff, paper, plastics, or any other foreign materials.
